HawkEye 360 Inc., the world’s largest commercial supplier of space-centered radio frequency (RF) data and analytics, announced today that Leidos has joined its Series D round as an investor and strategic partner. Leidos’ $5 million investment takes the total amount raised in Series D fundraising to $150 million. Leidos’ expertise in generating sophisticated analytics will be used to use HawkEye 360’s distinctive RF geospatial intelligence data as a key partner.

UHF push-to-talk radios, L-band satellite devices, VHF marine radios, maritime and land-centered radar systems, and emergency beacons are among the emitters detected, characterized, and precisely geolocated by the HawkEye 360 constellation. The company provides actionable insights to the United States government, global governments, and the burgeoning commercial industry by analyzing and processing this RF data.
